Speaking to
Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's morning show ‘kokrokoo’, John Jinapor said the blackout was as a result of a problem they encountered with a plant at Aboadze.
" . . the problem has been rectified and power restored in some areas . . . to be truthful, we still have challenges with some of our plants and that is why some areas are still without light but efforts are being put in place to restore power to those communities as soon as possible," he said.
Mr Jinapor also admitted that the country is having challenges with gas supply from Nigeria.
According to him, Nigeria is unable to supply the country with light crude oil but arrangements are being made to get it from another source.
